Terms and conditions

1. Waiver Form: You agree to sign a waiver form with Box and Burn Whangarei

2. Good physical condition: You warrant that you are in good physical condition and you know of no medical or other reason why you cannot or should not do active or passive exercise.

3. Medical advice: You recognise that the session instructor is not able to provide you with medical advice with regards to your health and fitness, information provided is a guideline and you should always refer to your doctor.
 
4. Injury: You agree to not hold any certified trainer or directors of Box and Burn Whangarei liable for any injury that may occur during a session.
 
5. If you choose to bring your children to wait while you are training, you must agree to take full responsibility of the children.
 
6. Paying for memberships: Membership fees are paid in advance, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, by credit or debit card through the app. Memberships include personal training memberships with a set regular timeslot. 
 
7. Meeting Your Responsibilities: You must make sure: there is enough money in your account on the payment day, before the next scheduled payment you tell us about any changes to your credit card, such as its expiry date or number, at least 72 hours before your next debit.
 
8. What happens if your payment is declined or fails for any reason?: If you do not fully pay your fees on the due date, Box and Burn will suspend access to booking sessions until any outstanding balance has been paid and you have given us your updated payment details if they are required. Box and Burn will continue to debit your nominated account/card without notice, until they have received the total amount you owe. Box and Burn will make a reasonable effort to advise you on the status of the failed payments by letting you know beforehand by writing to the email address you provided. 
 
9. Can Box and Burn change your agreement? Box and Burn may sometimes add to, change or remove our terms and conditions. This includes changing of the opening and closing hours, the services and facilities and membership fees. If this substantially reduces our ability to provide our service to you, Box and Burn will reduce your membership fees accordingly on a pro-rata basis. The most up-to date terms and conditions always apply. 
 
10. Can Box and Burn increase your fees? Box and Burn reserve the right to increase your fees at any time by a reasonable amount. Box and Burn will tell you about this at least 28 days beforehand by email to the email address you have given us. Box and Burn will consider that you have received our or email on the second business day after it is sent. Where Box and Burn have made a reasonable effort to let you know about a fee increase, you authorise us to increase any debits from your nominated account.
 
11. Suspensions and Cancellations: Box and Burn understand that from time to time you may not be able to train due to holidays, rest periods, becoming sick or injured or wish to cancel your membership altogether. The following rules apply to suspensions and cancellations.
 
Suspensions: 
Memberships can be suspended or put hold. Two week minimum suspension and eight week maximum suspension each year, unless you can provide a medical certificate. There is a one-off admin fee of $10 for each suspension. Suspensions cannot be backdated. 

 
Cancellations: 
You can cancel your membership at anytime with $0 cancellation fee provided a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is given.

 
12: No Shows/Late Class Cancellations: 
Memberships:
If you are on a limited membership (e.g. 3 classes a week) or using a pre-purchased package (e.g. 10 x session pass), you can cancel your booked session up to 24 hours before the session and the session will be credited to your account. Late cancellations are no shows will still use one "session credit" even if you did not attend. This aims to ensure it is fair for all members whom wish to attend class.

 
Personal training cancellations: Personal training sessions purchased on a membership plan have a set time-slot that is allocated to you. These sessions are paid weekly and will not be changed or refunded if you do not turn up to your session. You may put your membership on hold for a minimum of two weeks with 48 hours. On compassionate grounds for emergencies Box and Burn will make reasonable arrangements for changing your session day or time should you need to.
 
13. Use of your image: You agree to allow Box and Burn to take a video or photo to use for promotion purposes from time to time.
